Our Staff

Nicole Moraw
Executive Director

With more than 12 years of experience in recruiting, human resource management, and fundraising, Nicole Moraw serves as the executive director of ARTreach. She has experienced particular success with staffing firms and with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society throughout her career. An active volunteer with the Katy Independent School District since 2012, she served as a volunteer and assistant teaching artist with ARTreach since 2014. In January 2017, she joined the ARTreach Board of Directors and soon transitioned off the board to become executive director. Nicole is passionate about the arts being a social service and is eager to expand ARTreach’s program connections to create positive changes through the arts for underserved communities. 

Kristin Miller
Curriculum Developer, Artist Manager

Kristin Miller has been an actress and model since the age of 14. Originally from Utah, she has lived and worked in Katy for many years. She is the co-founder and executive director of the Katy Visual and Performing Arts Center and creator of Imagine That Theatre Instruction Programs. Currently the artistic director of Books Alive! Theater Company Kristen has personally taught performing arts to thousands of children and adults throughout her impressive 30-year career.

Sarah Beth Baca
Board President

Sarah Beth Baca is a painter, illustrator, and entrepreneur who tackles complicated social and spiritual issues in a lighthearted, hopeful way. She specializes in 2-dimensional works of art that are narrative in nature, welcoming viewers  into stories that have been meaningful in her own life.

She is a believer in the healing power of art and creating in community.

Baca received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Fine Art from Houston Christian University in 2001. Sarah Beth lives and works in Richmond with her husband, Brandon, and their three children, Asher, Eden, and Ruby.

Linda Jordan
Board Vice President

An expert in marketing and business development, Linda Jordan has a degree in business administration. She is a lifelong resident of the Houston area, making Fort Bend county her home for eight years. A real estate consultant and educator with an emphasis on seniors, Linda has led workshops on real estate and education topics. She is an active member of the community and is committed to increasing ARTreach and its programs' visibility and impact.

Stevie Ballow
Board Member

Stevie has been teaching for almost 20 years. Since 2017, she has been the TAB Studio Director at Shady Oak Primary School in Richmond, TX, and has spoken about creativity and artmaking at Early Childhood and Art Teacher conferences around the state of Texas. She is passionate about the arts and the profound effect they can have on building community connections.

Christian Brown
Board Member

A Houston native, Mr. Brown attended college at Baylor University, where he received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Music & Entertainment Marketing from the Hankamer School of Business. He then joined Theatre Under the Stars (TUTS), where he worked from 2010 to 2015. In this position, he oversaw the organization’s marketing, advertising and communications. Most recently, Mr. Brown was the Director of Marketing and Press Relations at Houston Ballet from 2015-2017. He now is the CEO and Owner of BrightCatch Media, ‘Your CMO To-Go!’, representing many of Houston’s most elite brands. 

Nicole Franklin-Jones
Board Member

Nicole Franklin-Jones has been with AVDA since 2014. A native Houstonian, Nicole holds degrees in Child Psychology (BA) from Texas Southern University and in Art and Organizational Management (MA) from the University of Phoenix and is a Youth & Family Certified Life Coach. She has 30+ years of experience working and founding community efforts to broaden opportunities for today’s at-risk youth. As AVDA’s Outreach Director, she is dedicated to educating the community on the effects of domestic violence in an effort to end intimate partner abuse for adults and youth.

Courtney March
Board Member

Courtney March is the Business Development Officer with Wells Fargo N.A. Courtney has over 20 years of experience as an industry leader in Financial Banking, Mortgages, Account Receivable Management, Business Development, Sales, and Credit and Collections industries in the United States. His career includes mid-level management positions within Fortune 500 companies overseeing customer contact, collections, call centers, and sales as VP Branch Management US Bank, Chase, and San Francisco Fire Credit Union. Working as a VP of Business Development for the past 6 years, he was able to broker deals from equipment financing, commercial real estate, various medical startups, while supporting many other small business financial needs. With his strong business development and a knack for financial needs and business operations, he’s been able to build and maintain strong business relationships. While always looking for a way to give back to the community, he has served on the boards for Teen and Family Services, Student Guidance Group, and in an advisory role with Houston Petset. Courtney is a huge sports fan, with football being his favorite, and he enjoys supporting the local professional teams in Houston.

Lindsay Ripley
Board Member

Throughout her career, Lindsay Ripley has been dedicated to connecting people to the arts, engaging with the community, and contributing to the field of art education in the public-school setting and beyond. She is the Visual Arts Coordinator for Spring Branch ISD, an adjunct professor at The University of Houston, and an artist at heart and in practice. Lindsay started her career in the art classroom, sharing the arts with students, from the kindergarten through high school levels. She continues her passion for art education in the post-secondary classroom at The University of Houston. Primarily working as a painter, she has exhibited her work all over the state of Texas. Lindsay is dedicated to her art practice, spending many weekends and evenings creating art in her home studio in Houston, Texas.

Terence Tang
Board Member

Terence Tang is a Houston-born-and-raised artist and graphic designer who is passionate about using his skills and talents for social good. He is a Senior Graphic Designer at MD Anderson Cancer Center, a mentor for the Adobe Creative Apprenticeship program, and a board member for Houston Chinese Youth Camp. He creates under the artist alias Tinlun Studio, where his artistic specialties include custom hand-lettering, merch design, photography, videography and acrylic painting.
